KS DAT Entrance Coaching
KS DAT stands for the Kerala State Design Aptitude Test. It is a state-level online entrance examination conducted for admission to the 4-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program in participating colleges across Kerala.

Course Offered: 4-year B.Des (8 semesters).
Exam Mode
Online (Computer-Based Test)
Duration: 100 minutes (1 hour 40 minutes).
Total Questions & Marks: 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 100 marks (1 mark per correct answer; no negative marking detail specified, standard 1 mark per question)
Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The exam tests candidates across five main sections:
Design Awareness: 30 marks (Visual logic,logical reasoning, pattern recognition, 3D spatial awareness, and design thinking).
General Knowledge: 20 marks (Current affairs,Indian culture, environment, sports, and books).
English Language: 20 marks (Basic grammar and comprehension).
Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude: 20marks (Percentages, ratios, speed and distance, averages, and simple interest).
Social and Basic Sciences (10th standard level): 10 marks (Physics, chemistry, biology, world history, and geography).
